Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion. Acetone and Isopropyl rubbing alchohol work as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces. QUICK-CURE™ lack of brittleness allows it to form bonds on materials as different as balsa wood and glass; however, it is not recommended for areas subject to long-term immersion in water. Cured QUICK-CURE™ can be coated with polyester resin without affecting the curing of the resin.
